Five & Dime is a an ongoing series depicting the unconventional sense of street photography and sticking to the roots of where colour photography started. The importance of photographing your neck of woods shows relativity to the artist. Rather than having an epic monologue in the conventional sense, this series is autobiographical collection of images showing the day to day life of Austin Reynolds. From shots of him going to the grocery store, to him eating out, shows the importance of documenting one's life in a homely manor. Taking the idea of a snapshot and going deeper into the box rather than outside of it will show the intimate relationship it has with the camera. Repetition and do diligence are key factors in the work that is being shown. Leaving behind the thought of more, and exploring the creation that already is; shows.
